How to Freeze Unfreeze Rows & Columns in MS Excel (Excel 2003-2016)

When you are working with huge data in excel sheet, the first row or column may contain serial number, names, values etc. but when you scroll down the first row will not follows you, every time need to go up and check rows or columns contents, for this you can do easy thing, just freeze rows and column, its mean when you scroll down the row follows you as a pop up, let see how to do this.

1.       Keep cursor below the row and click on “View” – “Freeze Panes” select “Freeze top row”

2.       For column do the same keep cursor next to the column and click on “View” – “Freeze Panes” select “Freeze first column” 

3.    To unfreeze go to “View” – “Freeze Panes” select “Unfreeze top rows or columns”
